Parent Child Education, a limited liability company, aspires to be the most comprehensive website for everything relating to children for parents, teachers, home school parents, care givers, tutors, ESL, uncles, aunts, grandparents… anyone that wishes to enrich the life of the young person they are spending time with.
Parent Child Education will give you all the tools (everything from secrets on how teachers reach different children - to products that have a proven track record) that we have learned while working with children. Empowering you and giving you the confidence that you will inspire your child (or children or class) to work towards their educational potential while instilling in them an enthusiasm for learning.

Some information about how Parent Child Education came to be and the founders:
In the spring of 2007, after years of successfully creating hands-on experiences for children, Cynthia and Chantal decided to use the Internet to share tricks and tools that they have experienced over the years with parents that longed to share the joy of learning with their children.
Chantal and Cynthia worked at New Morning School in Michigan, a school known for individualizing the learning for their students. There Chantal and Cynthia had the opportunity to create fun situations and activities for children to problem solve using hands-on materials that helped facilitate learning at their own pace.
You will find on this web site lessons and activities that have worked well with other children including: suggestions for lessons appropriate to the needs of different children, videos with pointers, a sequence of skills and much more. There will be more lessons on the web site in the near future.
Cynthia Wilkinson
B. A. in Elementary Education from
Michigan State University
Cynthia brings to the team over 20 years as a certified teacher. She has had experience working with children from preschool through 8th grade. Over the years, she has gathered numerous ideas and suggestions from other teachers and mentors on the best ways to reach a child. She has had the opportunity to attend workshops to further her understanding of children, including one on brain-based learning. She knows the importance of taking into account each child's individual strengths and learning styles to help him/her to reach his/her individual learning potentials. She recently was a speaker at the Detroit Area Council of Teachers of Mathematics annual workshop.
Chantal Gonzalez
B. S. in Mathematics from
Lawrence Technological University
Chantal is a talented IT programmer and trainer. She has the innate ability of being able to work with adults and children with compassion and humor. She is able to focus on a person, observe his/her learning strengths and weaknesses without any judgments. Then she develops games and activities to assist that person to reach his/her sought after goal. This is a rare and unique skill. Her joy in working with children is apparent by the smile that is always on her face. Children adore working and being with Chantal.
