This short video shows some of the activities you can do with your child. Notice that we only guide Frank when he is unsure and give him an opportunity to think through the problem.
Apples become the star for our first fall unit. The Apples unit will lead your child through exploring different kinds of apples, counting them, tasting them, learning about where they come from, the role apples have had in our nation's history and much more. The lessons can be adapted for any young child but are particularly appropriate for a Kindergartner.
You'll find some suggested ways to introduce the Apple Unit from visiting an orchard to reading a good book. The important thing is having your child involved in the learning.
